Who uses a Monogram logo?

We were so pleased and honoured when our inner circle peer AKB2 Small Business Marketing asked elleseven branding to re-fresh their brand.
As a digital marketing firm she understood that staying current to attract your niche customer is necessary and their existing identity did not echo their core values of being cutting-edge, savvy & fun to work with.

After walking them through our 4-STEP IT WORKS process, we were able to identify which elements HAD TO STAY and which HAD TO GO!

Brand Recognition & Distinctiveness: Because they had already built a reputation and recognition with a Monogram logo we decided this type of logo should live on
Simplicity & Memorability: We did however add an icon to bring a dynamic graphic element of uniqueness that spoke to their core brand foundation story & introduced a cleaner, modern font that visually morphed into each other using a transparency effect with fresh, bold colours
Versatility & Scalability: We ensured that across all platforms, the new identity would work and be clearly seen at any size
Timelessness & Longevity: Monogram logos often have a timeless quality due to their simplicity and minimalistic design & they now feel confident this will carry them for a longer period of time

It's important to consider the specific needs, values, and target audience of a brand when choosing a logo design. While a monogram logo was the right choice for AKB2, it may not be the best fit for YOUR brand, and other logo styles may better align with your brand's personality and objectives.
